Explore and Play

9.30 – 11am
(starts 10 September)

Weekly drop-in stay and play session for children of all abilities with arts and crafts, singing, indoor and outdoor play. A chance for parents and children to have fun together and meet other families.

Children’s Centre Advisory Board

1 – 2.30pm
(17 September and 10 December)

The advisory board is made up of parents and professionals who help oversee, advise and make recommendations about the development and running of the children’s centre. if you are interested in volunteering to be a parent advisory board member please speak to Pippa Bruce, Centre Manager.

Crèche Provided. 

Parent Forum

1 – 2.30pm
(1 October, 5 November, 3 December)

Time for you to meet other parents, share ideas and make sure the views of parents are heard in the centre.  If you are interested in joining the Parent Forum please speak to Jel Taylor the ECC Family Worker. Crèche provided.

Messy Play

1.00 – 2.30pm
(starts 11 September)

A drop-in play session to support children to explore and enjoy a range of messy play activities including food play. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Sensory Play

9.30 – 11.00am
(starts 7 September. No session on 14 December)

A drop-in play session with activities to explore all the senses. The pace of this session is slower and calmer than other play sessions we offer.

BIG Stay and Play

1 – 2.30pm
(starts 7 September. No session on 14 December)

A drop-in play session with activities to encourage your child’s communication and social interaction skills. The session offers fewer activities, less distractions and more space to play and move around.


Family Play Session

10 – 11.30am
(second Saturday of the month – 8 September, 13 October, 10 November and 8 December)

A monthly drop-in stay and play session for all the family. A chance to enjoy and spend time with your child and meet other families. For children aged 0-5yrs.


If you are finding it difficult financially, Foodbank can provide emergency food for up to three days.
